VERSION 1.0

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Check Their Integrity (“CTI”), operated by Queen City Labs, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”), collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use checktheirintegrity.com (the “Site”) or purchase our Services. We aim to collect only information reasonably necessary to provide and improve the Services.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you order a Report, complete the optional project intake, request a replacement report link, contact us, or request support, you may provide:

Payment information

Stripe processes payments. CTI does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers. We receive limited checkout and transaction information from Stripe, such as the checkout email, payment status, amount, and transaction identifiers. Stripe handles information under its own privacy policy.

Information collected automatically

Our first-party analytics may collect pseudonymous visitor, session, event, and order identifiers; referral and campaign information; landing and current page paths; pages and buttons used; order-funnel status; approximate device and viewport category; browser locale and timezone; and technical errors. We may also receive standard technical request information needed to operate and secure the Site.

Analytics does not include free-text content or business contact details. We do not retain IP addresses as analytics data, record keystrokes, use session replay, build advertising profiles, or use analytics information for behavioral advertising.

Public record information

Reports primarily consist of information obtained from publicly available sources. Public records concerning businesses or business owners are generally not collected from the Customer but are independently researched by CTI. This Privacy Policy applies primarily to information we collect from Customers and visitors to the Site, not to information already made publicly available by government agencies or other lawful public sources.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

We do not use information collected through the Site or Services to train artificial-intelligence models.

3. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as reasonably necessary with providers supporting payment processing, website hosting, databases and report storage, email delivery, infrastructure, and security. These providers process information for their services and under their own contractual and legal obligations.

We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process or when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud or security incidents, protect rights and safety, enforce agreements, or complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of relevant business assets subject to appropriate safeguards.

4. First-party analytics and browser storage

The Site uses local storage and session storage for pseudonymous visitor, session, and first-touch attribution identifiers. A session identifier ordinarily lasts for the browser session. Visitor and attribution identifiers remain until browser storage is cleared. You may clear that storage at any time, which resets those identifiers. The Site may also use cookies where reasonably necessary to operate securely or support checkout.

CTI does not track your activity over time across unrelated websites, and we do not permit third parties to conduct behavioral cross-site tracking through the Site. Because we do not perform that tracking, browser “Do Not Track” signals do not change the Site’s behavior.

5. Retention

Raw analytics events are retained for up to 13 months. We retain order, payment, Report, correction, security, and legal records only as long as reasonably necessary for fulfillment, support, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, legitimate business purposes, and legal obligations. Retention may be extended when required by law or a legal hold.

Private report links may expire for security purposes, and replacement links are available. Link expiration does not necessarily mean that the underlying order or Report record has been deleted.

6. Your choices

Subject to applicable law, you may ask what personal information we maintain about you, request correction of inaccurate information, or request deletion. Submit requests to hello@checktheirintegrity.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information required for accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No security system is perfect. Keep private report links confidential and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

8. United States processing

The Services are operated from the United States. Information may be processed and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

9. Children’s privacy

The Site and Services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy prospectively by posting the revised version and effective date on the Site. If a material change affects an existing order, we will provide additional notice when reasonably practical or legally required.
